High Dose Vitamin C
When taken by intravenous (IV) infusion, vitamin C can reach much higher levels in the blood than when it is taken by mouth. Studies suggest that these higher levels of vitamin C may be beneficial for chronic infections and patients with certain types of cancer. We are happy to work with your care team to determine if this treatment option would be beneficial for you. All patient receiving a dose of 15 grams or more will require a G6PD test prior to starting treatment.

INGREDIENTS
Our IV vitamin infusions are carefully prepared by a local compounding pharmacy and include Normal Saline, Magnesium Chloride, Calcium Gluconate, B4 (Pyridoxine), B6 (Dexpanthenol), B12 (Hydroxocobalamin or Methylcobalamin), B Complex, and Vitamin C.​
​We also offer the option to enhance your treatment with Glutathione, Zinc, and other antioxidants, minerals, or amino acids tailored to your specific needs and goals.
Additionally, High-Dose Vitamin C IV treatments are available to support targeted health benefits.
TREATMENT DETAILS
IV Vitamin Treatments are very safe and typically take 60-90 minutes and can be given once per month or on an as-needed basis. It is very rare to experience any side effects with these treatments.
1. Before Your Appointment
Please wear comfortable clothing with short sleeves or loose sleeves that can be easily rolled up.
Stay hydrated and have a light snack before your visit.
Inform us if you are taking any medications or have a history of kidney or heart conditions.
2. During Your Appointment
The process begins with sanitizing the area of your skin where the IV will be inserted.
A thin needle inside a catheter is gently inserted into your vein, and the catheter is secured in place with tape.
The procedure Is typically painless, aside from a minor pinch during insertion.
The IV line is connected to a bag containing a saline solution enriched with various vitamins, positioned above your head. The IV fluid flows into your bloodstream naturally through gravity.
Most IV treatments take approximately 60–90 minutes.
During this time, you can relax, use your phone or laptop, or ask any questions about additional treatments.
3. After Your Treatment
Following your IV treatment, you can resume your daily activities, return to work, or engage in exercise without any restrictions. Most patients experience a sense of relaxation or well-being shortly after the session. Some notice increased energy and improved sleep the same day, while for others, it may take 1–2 days to feel the effects.
